Summary: Dami finds an Eric and harasses him a bit over Jan before Eric retreats into the room. Jan comforts him before deciding to go find some better weapons in case Dami gets ambitious.

He hadn't really been up to a whole lot since nearly losing a finger in Riverfell, and a rather relaxed Eric trundled out of his room, flute in hand. Thankfully, his hand had healed well enough that it didn't affect his playing all that much.

Looking up almost sleepily, he caught sight of Damion and froze. This was not good. He shouldn't be here ... Eric's brow furrowed slightly and he unconsciously pressed against his door a little as if he could blend into it.

Damion had passed a few others on his way up ... but he'd wanted to see everyone before he made any decisions on where to start. He hadn't seen any of the targets they'd kidnapped - until now.

His lips parted in a grin as he regarded Eric. "Well, good morning," he greeted him almost cheerfully, near-black eyes gleaming with ill-repressed pleasure at the sight of him.

"You know, I was just on my way up here to look for you," he said as he stepped closer, extending a bare hand "Damion Cohen. I don't believe we've officially met."

He regarded the hand as if it might bite him a moment before easing his own into it.

"Eric Banyon," he offered, eyes slightly narrowed as he regarded what he considered to be a rather untrustworthy individual, "Why exactly were you looking for me?"

He wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer to that, but he figured he was going to find out sooner or later so he may as well know now. Or hear whatever lie suited Damion best now.

"Well," Damion said as he released Eric's hand. "I suppose to be honest I was more looking for January than for you, though I reasoned the pair of you would be together."

He paused. "You are still together?" Dark brows elevated as he regarded the other male. "You keep her satisfied?" A smirked curved his lips. "I thought I could stop in and see how she was doing, since I was in town - as it were."

Dark eyes lingered over Eric's face, studying his reactions.
