Anti-luck is those times when you wish you weren't right, but you are.
Examples:
You bet that it'll rain the one day you left your umbrella behind.
You suspect you'll have to cover for someone else, even though they insist everything will work out so you don't need to.

You've still got several days to figure something out re Sherlock. I have faith in you.

And that other stuff you were talking about is just ordinary, everyday, run-of-the-mill life with Other Human Beings (OHBs). It's situation normal and has nothing to do with good or bad luck. Now you know, so you can roll with it, and hopefully find a way to make it work for you!

I have 4 days and just under twelve hours. I understand how these things work, but they're NOT FECKING WORKING and I'm sick of trying to cobble together multiple solutions because my ass is broke and can't afford anything, not even to wait.

No, see. Once or twice I'd think that horrid typicalness. Every single time makes it no longer coincidence, but a inexplicably wearying inevitability.
To keep it in the realms of optimistic chance though- I call it 'anti-luck', and pray I'm wrong.
