I have 1064 unread livejournal email updates in my inbox, both from personal friends, authors, authors who are friends, and communities I follow
( Read more... )
Well, I was joking about the couple of hours, unless you delete most of them as no longer relevant. But I'm glad to hear I'm one of the authors! I was hoping I was.
Now now, the whole reason i had it sent to my email is they *are* important! the majority of them are fics, I only tend to get 'all updates' for those authors/friends i really care about. (besides, your dinner sounded delish and i could hardly miss that drool-worthy description!) <3
Those are generally the updates that I quick read over first though, cause the fics (yours especially) are half 'n half one-shots and loooong (yours) serieses, so it's best to get the general updates first, then oneshots (if i can figure which are oneshots) and then i leave the series for last, because by this time anyway I'll probably need to reread everything from the beginning. (like yours. I totally forgot everything and needed to start over from scratch)
Oh I'm *around* just not got much time to myself that I don't feel guilty not spending on things I should be doing, like classwork and all the many readings, both my 2013 book challenge (I started in august, so I only set myself to read 50 books, and I'm 14 books in, heh, manga apparently counts on this site...), and textbooks, and various friends and anime club to hang out at, and friends online to hang with too, over some nice online video games...
You get the idea.
Plus my health is still... wacky? tacky? on the fritz? buggy? As is evidenced by my being online at this hour still, so gotta keep an eye on that too.
The fact that goodreads includes manga books does help wonders to my book count, because I'm really having to grind through this Stephen Fry book. Though their textbook count doesn't hurt either, get +s for classwork.
Health issues are a bitch for me, cause it seems i either figure out one problem, and have a bunch more crop up, or everything fscks up at once and I'm miserable. And the paperwork and doctors visits aren't the greatest either.
