Movie Recommendations of the Week

Yesterday K and I saw two films about religion that are sure to shake you up and make you think. I highly recommend both:

Jesus Camp -- A documentary about an evangelical Christian children's camp in North Dakota. I think that most of the Tribeca Film Festival audience was horrified (myself included) but it's quite a testament to the filmmakers'

I wouldn't have thought so (it just came out here a week or so ago) but Farhana told me she has it in her living room so apparently it's available in the UK.

often times "indian" movies are released in UK prior to US.

it doesn't start here until friday.

i wouldn't be surprised if you could buy the dvd from an indian grocery/movie store. that is how i got bend it like beckham and monsoon wedding while they were still playing in the US theaters.

but then again, metha is too controversial for most stores to carry.
