God i hate marking exams, It is so depressing. You can see their frustration, their panic, in all the little mistakes and scribbled notes over the bits of paper. So i take their hope and fears, their attempts to both engage with the subject and how the institution constructs them as a subject of power and put a mark on it. Gross
