Eleventh Hour

I was really hoping it would be better than Fringe (aka The Adventures of Crazy Dr. Walt), but sadly, its not.

I really wanted to look forward to a weekly dose of Marley Shelton.

Seriously? Bummer. I like Pacey & Dr. Crazy, but that's about it on the show. I was hoping it would get better, too.

They just need to make it the adventures of Dr. Crazy and Astrid the girl whose name he can't remember, because those two are the best part of Fringe.

I watch Fringe for Dad and Peter's interactions. I need to watch Eleventh Hour tonight though and Life on Mars which has me worried about divergence from the original.

I haven't watched Life of Mars yet, but I have it DVR'ed. Nor did I watch the original.

one review I read though said that the U.S. pilot is almost a shot for shot remake of the UK original. Since I have seen neither yet, I can't say whether that's accurate or not.

I'm a big fan of the BBC version and my main issue will be that it went 17 episodes before it ended (and resolved the story) and I'm curious how the American version is gonna handle that since it will obviously go much longer (one hopes).

Depending on how they want to handle the cause of the time travel, it seems to me like they could easily stretch it out over the course of a few seasons.
