My mind fairly boggles at the possible applications of this technology to some of my artwork.

youtube, science, video, body painting

How come the scientists wear safety glasses, but the people being sprayed don't?

Those scientists EARNED those goggles, by going to science school! Those assholes who are getting sprayed-on are lucky to be getting anything to wear at all!

It is that. I was thinking more in terms of what applications it might have in terms of my body painting work.

I was mostly thinking of this last bit, and things like it.

I occasionally look at mostly-skin-tight clothing that has ridges and flares and whatnot, and kind of feel envious that I can't incorporate that kind of thing into my designs without merely covering stuff up with costume pieces - costume pieces which aren't of my design, naturally, and which as such are sort of... "cheating", I guess, in a way. With technology like this though? Whole new vistas would open up for me.

I'm reminded of Empowered's fragile supersuit, somehow that stuff doesn't look sturdy at all.

An apt comparison!

Related: I really need to buy Empowered Volume 4 and onwards.
