The Edmond tornado was east of us (and the big damage wasn't till it got out of town). Another one forming in Norman which is way south of us. Ben still has 5 art, 5 history, 4 science, 13 language arts, and 13 phonics lessons. So we've got to do 2 LA and 2 phonics each day and 2 specials. Eek.

I was reading more of Carry On, Warrior, which Elaine gave me last month, and I read about Glennon giving her sister a necklace for her remarriage with a quote from Joan of Arc "I am not afraid. We had a lovely evening down at the art's festival hearing our friend's band, so after we got home and tucked the kids in Dave and I stayed up and said goodbye to David Tennant. (only had 2 episodes left, but we'd been putting them off)

On Wednesday we got invited to a tea party for this afternoon, so we need to figure out a present for that.

since I only do 1 'real' (with a theme and decorating and such) birthday party each year, Ben has had a long time to figure out what he wants...at first it was pirate, then lego starwars, then "protein"...as we are getting closer I was worried I would have to figure out something for that and then a couple weeks ago he switched to wanting a "Bloon ( Read more... )

My laptop is in DFW!

My right hip hurts in a sharp way. From the outside (but not the inside) you can feel it click in and out with every step. This worries me.

Happy Thanksgiving! Ours had been great!

I took my closeup from this evening and did that thing where you make the left and right sides into their own symmetric pictures...kinda of weird. You can tell my head was crooked :-p
