For what it's worth, the airbag in my brother-in-law's car saved his life last year. His father, who was a passenger, didn't have one and died.

Oh they're definately good things to have, but they should be optional or have the ability to be turned off. In my father-in-law's truck you can turn off the passenger side, but not the driver's side.

I admit to not being as clean in the car as I should. I tend to let papers pile up... and then other stuff.. My hubs is cleaner than I.. however, he ain't no prince either...

I'm glad you got the car put together... I wish I had 1/10th of your ability.

Hehe! Oh, I'm definately not Mr Clean either! And in all fairness, it's the kids that do most of the messing-up in the wife's car. In my truck it's papers and books- I carry a small library with me that gets thrown around in the car.

I should really figure it all out one day, but I believe through the years I've probably saved at least the cost of a new car doing my own work. Probably more than that. It's really been a lifesaver as I could never afford to pay someone to do the work for me.

Ha.. I've probably saved the price of two cars by letting them fix the problem and not have to fix my screw ups ... that gets really expensive...
