The Escort needs tires, I just noticed today. Good NIGHT the prices have gone up lately! I put 4 tires on my truck a few years ago for around $160 or so, so I figured it would be cheaper for the car. Wrong! I called "Discount" tire company today and got a quote of $215 for all four. He actually asked me "What do you think about THAT price?" like it

Do y'all have Walmart down that way? I just put 4 new tires on my Escort for around that $160.

Ah, thanks for reminding me about them- I forgot they do tires, too. Yeah, I looked on their website and they have some for around $38 each. Very not-bad- by comparison, anyway!

For what its worth, those $38 tires are what I have on my Escort. I've had no problems with them, and they're doing great. I also have four of their $45 tires on the Jimmy.
