This post made me so very sad for you.... I know how it feels to feel you are so alone.
Dave.... I know you don't know me "well".... but I am your friend. I will never judge you for what you think, feel, or say.
You have a wife... and I have a husband... I am not interested in you romantically in any way... but I would like to be your friend.

As you know... I am going through my own hell right now. Things are not good at all. And the man I thought was my best friend.. my husband... is not right now. He might be again some day... but for now... no.

I sympathise and empathise. It's been a long time since I've felt like I've had a bestfriend, and I miss it lots.
