A nice trip to the ends of the earth sounds awfully nice. I'm going with my girlfriend to her old stomping grounds of NYC in September, which will be far from heading into the wilderness... I wish i wasn't so busy this year so we could actually do one of the 5 or 6 getaway trips we have planned although at least it's not hard to find beautiful landscapes to escape to quite close (or even in) the immediate bay area.

Speaking of trips and such... ever gonna make it out to SF again??? I have a big enough apt where you+1 could crash!
