DS Lite games?

Katie bought me a Nintendo... as most of you know... so what are some of the happening games?

I like puzzles.

I like Metroid.

I like Zelda.

That BrainAge game intrigues my... brain.

I imagine it's relatively safe to get games on eBay? If they work... they work?

omg ; heh; that's cool. there's a new Zelda out on Nintendo Wii - I am not in the loop; but I want to play the new Zelda.

There is a 3D metroid for the DS, but I would also recommend Metroid: Zero Mission and Metroid: Fusion for Game Boy Advance, which will stick funnily out of your DS but totally rule. Zero Mission is especially awesome, and Fusion has an interesting plot.

Oh, and I've heard that Kirby's Canvas Curse is interesting. You get to draw rainbows! :-D

A lot of people seem to enjoy Mario Kart DS as well.

Virtually all my gaming news comes from Penny Arcade (in case you haven't figured that out already), but the Nintendo DS piques my interest a great deal, with all the cool things they're doing with the touchscreen, microphone, and wireless access. It's also quite hackable, apparently. I may need to get one once they start coming down in price a bit.

I have Canvas Curse, but haven't played much. It was a very early game for the DS and you can tell they still didn't entirely know what to with it. It seems fun, though, and if you want to play it, I'll lend it to you.

I know there's a new DS Zelda game in the making, but I'm not sure when it'll be out. I guess they wanted the Twilight Princess hype to die down a bit so it wouldn't steal its thunder.
