These Niquitin lozenges are really wierd.
My first one gave me a head rush......I am just about to take my second one now.
This means that I will not be able to drink for the next half an hour (it effects the absorbption process or something).

P.S. If you haven't yet realised, I am giving up smoking. =P

They have a really odd taste.
They occasionally give you a burning sensation like fags sometimes do but I suppose it is because you are sucking on a lump of nicotine. =]

Its quite disgusting and I keep regretting sticking one of these damned things in my gob.

It sounds disgusting, but I bet its better than coughing up chunks of phlegm. And y'know, possible cancer. Its been really hard giving up but I've managed it, although I still cough up a load of crap every morning...... I hope that wears off eventually :\

These stupid foul lozenges make me cough occasionally too, its a really odd experience (with the occasional headrushes and what not).

I will be a non-smoker soon.......hopefully.

GOOD LUCK. I'm trying to kick the habit too, but my nicotine patch keeps falling off. Let me know how those lozenges go . . .

well I normally smoke about 20 a day and so far I havent had any.
I am on my 3rd lozenge. =]

They do feel like you are smoking (saw throat, head rush, coughing). =]

Awesome :) Every time I've tried to quit, as long as I

a) have plenty of nicotine gum

and b) my patch doesn't fall off

I do really well. What always gets me is being around smokers though. I smoke around 10 a day, but I just feel like crap for it. And I'm so tired of spending money on it . . .

good luck with it!dunno if you might want to look at the allen carr book? http://www.allencarrseasyway.com/ it's helped a lot of people anyway.
