Hell Hath No Fury in Nottingham.

Headcheck Records like their gigs in Nottingham. This is a good thing - I like their gigs in N'ham too and so I went with mrph up to The Old Angel last month.


First up were Kerosene Queen, and we arrived towards the end of their set.



Next, Hearts Under Fire were the unexpected band of the evening. I'd not heard of them before and hadn't bothered to look them up. They were really good.



Unfortunately they mostly spend their time down South, so it may be tricky to see them that often.

Harder to see often are going to be Brains All Gone. They were the main reason that we went up to the gig. Bouncy and fun pop punk from Poland.







Maid of Ace were a more traditional punk sound. Punchy.







Healthy Junkies headlined the night.
