olive trees... dogs and cats.

Well, we have a written offer for the house, which we've accepted. Now we wait to hear if their bank accepts it. And then... well, once mor into the unknown.

I planted two olive trees here (and a ton of other stuff). A piece of my heart will always stay here. Now it's just dog and cat hurdle...

Thank you. I am hoping the next one will give me some excitment... like new socks. Or if it has to be something wildly exciting a movie rights or a big sale of a multiple book contract. This has been the first birthday I can think of that has left me feeling OLDER!

heh. Be reasonable, this my life we're talking about. :-) It is never normal, sensible or simple. Sometimes good - but the long way around.

I'll keep right on planting. I figure someone will get to eat the fruit eventually :-)

Congratulations on the offer for your home. Hope all goes well with it. My last home I planted a red oak (bought it half dead on clearance). It was about 5 feet tall and thick as my thumbs held together. By the time we moved it was 30 feet tall and the best climbing tree in the neighborhood.
Don't miss the house, don't miss my neighbors nor the neighborhood. But I do miss that tree, a lot.

Well, marc - plant another tree. If you don't miss the house or the neighbours leaving was a good thing, man
