My flu seems to have come back. One of the places I regarded as possible on Flinders is up for auction, but we'll never get there in time, and never have the money in time, even if - because it was at auction, it went cheap :-( And the writing has been crap today, and Save the Dragons http ( Read more... )

Its a US holiday weekend. I'd be surprised if we get many visitors. Facebook etc. shows much fewer posts. Things should pick up again on Monday or Tuesday

Thanks. The brain knows. the spirits don't. It's also the product of Button (blind maltese) getting restive and falling off the the bed at 2am. Take her for a drink. she settles for 10 minutes. And then as I fall asleep walks off the bed again. Take her out. Bring her back. She settles for a bit and then begins panting. Take her for a drink... repeat this until 5 am when she finally falls asleep. She's very confused sometimes and i think she thought it was morning tea time. And then the big dogs say it's light, wakey wakey... so 3 hours sleep I had. I need at least 5. Not exactly sleeping well right now, somehow ;-).

Hugs, Dave. Take care of yourself. Please. Don't fret about the hits. Like the others said, it's a holiday here in the States and a con weekend to-boot. DragonCon and DiscWorld Con are both going on. I know a lot of the 'Flies are at one or the other of the cons. And let us know what we can do.
