I saw an appalling news story about Zimbabwe the other day. Apparently schoolgirls there are going into prostitution for food. Words fail.

Ol' I'm-a-dim-bub won his reelection? Rats. I was sure he was going to get an unpleasant surprise.

He didn't win. He 'won' the same way il-bob won the last election in Zim. And I think the revolution just as unlikely as in Zim. Il-bob has the army, police, and especially his 'war veterans' and control over the media. See any similarities?

Now that is a crying shame in the case of Iran. They've accused us of being imperialists often enough - maybe it is time we started to act the part. The crazies are already armed, so we might as well give any Iranian who crossed the border to Iraq a gun and a bit of training.

Ah, I see now what broke your switch, having just caught up with what's been happening outside my navel for the last five days.
Interesting.
