The Friday Five

Nov 15, 2024 21:54

1. What is something that you used to believe, but are glad you don't believe anymore?

2. Is there something you wish you still believed? What?

3. What experience or person taught you the most about life?

4. What area of life would you like to know or understand more about?

5. What is your most valuable lesson about life so far?

friday five, just wondering

i'm not sure there is anything that fits that 100%. i could say god. it's a relief to think that shit just happens, and that things aren't happening because i am bad in some way. but, i also don't have access to the comfort of peace and happiness after death or seeing loved ones again.

that i can achieve my dreams. that there is hope for things to get better.

maybe finding the Shambhala Center in Austin and learning about buddhism.

maybe love and relationships, especially positive ones.

life keeps moving with or without you, and you can never go back, only forward from where you are. no rewinds and redos.

1. Tough question. :o

2. That people are genuinely good. :( :( :(

3. Not sure I could whittle it down to one person.

4. Is finances considered an area of life? lol...

5. You have to look out for yourself, because others won't.
This probably mostly applies to work situations. :o

Hugs, Jon
