Fuji-san

On Monday Jen and I went on a bus tour to Mount Fuji.

The weather in Tokyo has been very cloudy/muggy of late, so we were doubtful whether we would even see anything.

I am SO living vicariously through you right now. You've done two of the things I promised myself I'd do before I die. Good on you David.
Keep posting these as I read them several times to get the full effect.

Your cardio fitness is better than mine.

When (not if) you make it to Mount Fuji, you may wish to try and clinb it. There's paths that go right up to the summit, where there's a little village. All you really seem to need is water and a walking stick. I read a recent account of some young and fit US Marines who made the climb, and they appreciated having a stick.

Unsurprisingly, you can buy walking sticks at the 5th stage.
