Mike's comments are the funniest and saddest of it all, so hypocritical really, can accept their ship being sunk and move on all a while bashing everyone involved or around who dares to disagree with them.
You know I'm reminded of this line from Heartbreak Ridge...
"Don't go away mad; just go away."

Did he post that little snippet of canon love prior to HBP? If after, I think the word delusional more than fits. However, even if he did post it before, did anyone think he would heed his own advice? His track record suggests the opposite.

I was amused by these people, then frustrated, then angry. Now I just want them to slink off to their corner of the fandom and leave the rest of us the hell alone; they're babies and hypocrites and the worst sort of "losers" imaginable(if one thinks they hadn't "lost" - or lost "it" - long ago). They make my stomach turn. And they make the sane people who enjoy H/Hr look terrible and delusional as well, which is a shame because some of them are very nice, level-headed people.

I've just discovered the "Ginny Sue" thread, and can I say, "Omg! How cute is that? They're jealous! They're throwing tantrums because Ginny got the spot they wanted to have...I mean, they wanted Hermione to have, so now they hate her! Oh to be that age again!

*snickers* Funny how the people who don't like Ginny are Harmonians:I know there's a connection there somewhere...

And how DARE Ginny be pretty! Really she should throw herself in front Greyback so he can mess up her face! Then she'd be likable because all pretty girls are superficial idiots, so without her looks she'd be a decent human being.

*giggles* Yep, I thought that was hilarious too. I've thought that for a loooooong time, that H/Hr is all about what they want for themselves personally, and they're offended that JKR has somehow told them that you, the Brainy Bookworm Who Can Do No Wrong And Only Love Perfectly, don't get to be with the hero.

I suspect this furor has to die down at some point. It will become physically unhealthy for them to continue to spew such hatred long-term. *crosses fingers* All that energy wasted. They should put it towards something positive, like a charity for... love... or something.
