(no subject)
Well, results are in. Got 490. Happy enough with the points. Disappointed with some subjects though. Brief run-down time.
English - B1 Pretty happy with this. I had a disaster in paper one, as some of you will no doubt recall, and this is as good as I could have hoped for, better in fact. Does prove that if I'd not fucked up that paper I would almost certainly have had my A1, which is irksome, but meh.
Irish - C3 Also happy enough. Wasn't counting it, but happy enough that it went well. Not a whole lot more to say on this subject.
Maths - D2 Also pretty happy here. Was getting grinds for a few months because I was genuinely worried. They paid off though, I guarantee I would have failed this subject, probably pretty miserably, without them, but that's stubbornness for you.
Latin - B2. Very, very disappointed with this one. Came out of the exam thinking I got my A1. Still certain I deserve an A1. This will definitely be getting reviewed and re-checked as far as I'm concerned.
History - A2. My best result, which is pretty funny, as history is far from my best subject. Very far from it in fact. I'm quite sure this is a mistake, but I will not be appealing this.
Music - B3. Definitely appealing this. Thought I did a lot better, frankly, and as all teh music results for my class are low, I will be appealing, or donning a balaclava and having a heart-to-heart with my inept and annoying teacher.
Chemistry - B2. The other subject I was certain I got an A1 in. Apparently the marking schemes for this can be awful, so I'll be reviewing it before I get it re-checked, but I will almost certainly appeal it after that.
Physics - B2. Thought the exam was pretty horrific, so this isn't too bad, but I'm tempted to appeal anyway. I'll see how I feel after I've reviewed it.
Right, now, out for a family dinner and then an unholy piss-up methinks. Breakfast and then home tomorrow morning sounds like a plan.
