I really do have an Olly Plimsoll Issue with the mismatched levels of non-phatic sharing between the internet and real life (or is real life just virtual now anyway? What other explanation for that sense of 'I've seen it before' in the televised aftermath of war and atrocity?). The internet's a delicious place, but it cannot truly be a substitute
