Progress

I just finished revising my way to the end of my MS. This draft is done. Now I'll take a day or two off, then turn around and re-start the revision process.

I'm very happy with the progress I have made. I haven't been racing through the drafts or leaving paper twisters in my wake. But I have been making very steady progress. I feel the quality of ( Read more... )

I don't enjoy the actual process of revision, though I am ALWAYS pleased with the results! I am one of those writers who enjoys "having revised."

I do think my writing is never really finished, though. Even now that I look over my published short story, I can find things to tweak and improve. I suspect it'll always be that way.

Without results, revision would make me a drudge. And I agree, the mental process can sometimes never be terminated.

You've been a revision machine for a while! BTW, I went to the First Page book store in NB, the one on San Miguel, to buy your new book -- and they didn't have it. I wasn't happy. So then I went to Borders in Irvine. None. If you could tell me where I can purchase one, I would appreciate it. I want to read it.
