Magic

My wife and I had a date night at the Magic Castle. I love magic and I love that place. How cool an evening. The mention of Blackstone brings back memories. I was a magic geek as a kid. I saw Cardini give his farewell performance at an S.A.M. show in the 1960s. Just for fun, I named a character Thurston in one of my books.

Wow, seeing Cardini. That was cool. He was awarded Master Magician by the Magic Castle. Did you ever read Carter Beats the Devil? I loved the way Glen David Gold captured Carter and Thurston and that whole era.

I did read it. That was an amazing era. We need to get together some day and catch bullets in our teeth.
