Also: that essay was fab. I was going to paste one of my favorite quotes from it here, but it's too long. Darn you, Stephen King, with your fun (and lengthy) turns of phrase!

I thought Stephen King's comments were fun to read as well. It was nice to see that even though he dissed R. L. Stine ever so openly, at the end of his essay he gave R.L a little pat on the back, even though he could have just as easily set his eyes and concentration on him, making him burst into flames. Ahhhh, nice Stephen.
