Today I made a roast beef sandwich using pita bread, lemon-flavored mayonnaise, and several limp slices of Cost-co derived beef. It was very good, though in my heart of hearts I secretly long to glut myself with chicken salad.

I took the liberty of asking several famous alive and dead people what sandwiches they were eating.

Idi Amin: Today I had a wonderful sandwich of human flesh, garnished with parsnips and served on piping hot pumpernickel. Yesterday I had an open-faced face. Mmm mmm good!

Rudy Ray Moore: A juicy piece 'o snatch with jaws fo' bread! I can't believe I ate the whole thang!

cheap wheat bread with a spoon of blackberry jam was my sandwich in a hurry this morning

sandwich i'd like to fricasee up: grilled cheese monty jack + sharp cheddar with pesto, garlic, eggplant, tomatoes, and ganja butter.

update on the mission: a no-go so far (see hakim bey's paper, the No-Go Zone) but perhaps in a few days, says the dude
