Okay... Free and I got into an argument in Nami's journal and it didn't really concern her so I decided I'd bring it here. I have provided a recap for people who haven't seen it. It tells the whole story.

Its really fucking interesting how when I asked Free about my idea the most he said to me was "Create a thread in GD and and find out", why couldnt he have done one his previous little numbers where he straight off blantly shoots down every little thing I ask about on AIM? Oh and of course his doing that "thing"... you know that not responding to you? But who knows perhaps thats because be "nice" and probably handing out the free space he's offering and or some other miscellanious stuff thats so much more important. He wont even try it cause his so sure it'll just die down and then become "dead weight", I just know that if he tried it and it doesnt "die" we all have nice laughs awaiting us. Shoot, AT LEAST Im thinking of the poor memebers of the board, trying the give the little no lives monsters something they can do thats more productiive. I guess I will start believeing if it has nothing to do with RPGs, its not worth his time.

Well if you notice through his comment to me, he honestly didn't give a shit in the first place and even though you have a pretty big number of people supporting a craft forum, it still won't go through. He's fucking pathetic in the fact that he won't come out and say something directly to someone. He'd much rather string them along and make them bust their ass all for nothing. I'd support you 90%, but TBH, trying to get something worthwhile done on AL is pretty much a useless task. It'll only be full of usless fuckwits that have nothing else better to do with their time. He's basically turning AL into an RPG based forum. That's why I'm glad I left. It sucks that I won't find a place that was like the old AL, but oh well... I guess I don't need to waste my time on such stupid things.

If there's enough people who think AL's becoming crap, then why doesn't someone make a new forum, not one of those crappy freeboards or anything, but a real message board. And get a whole bunch of the active members from AL that think it sucks ass to join it.

It's been done before. Jace started his own board, mostly for RPGing purposes, and for a haven for those that were sick of Free's bullshit. I was thinking of starting one, but the only advatage Free has against us all is the lack of a life. All he does is sit on his computer all day, he doesn't even attend his classes. His life IS the forum. I hardly get enough time to sleep these days, let alone start my own board (which I do have the means to do and not one of those crappy free ones.) I may start one one of these days just so I can keep up with my online friends and such. *shrugs* I dunno. I've been pondering it. I was just waiting until Frostmourne was done with whatever he has doing because he was interested in starting a new board as well.

We were not planning on crashing your party, or of taking all of your members away. Just the ones that have left/will leave because they feel it isn't worth their time. It's also blatantly transparent what this is about. Every time a member leaves your board you go all ape-shit about it. The only reason you found it in you to comment on this was that this could mean a buncha members leaving AL. If this board does happen, which it might not, we won't make "you can't be part of AL" a prereq. Thus, you keep your little members. Many are members of different forums as is, and if a few are doubling up, then so be it.
And this board might not even happen. It's an idea at this point, and nothing more. If it should actually come to pass, it won't be without thought put into it. It's fully possible to make a fully working break-off board; Jace did it. And Cera did it, as well. Hers is new but it's going strong. It's a fun place, but I don't get into it much. Basically a slightly stricter CS-style momentum doohickey. At any rate, don't say that ALL breakoff boards fail. Because it isn't true.
