If you find that magic remote control, tell me! I hate the proliferation of them in our house - remotes, remotes everywhere, and never a one that actually changes channels... Even worse trying to pick the right one in other peoples houses: chances are the one I pick will do something to their central heating or set off their burglar alarm before I get to watch my show... :(

There's an App that'll make your phone your remote. The ones I've seen on-line seem to load a virtual copy of your remote, so I suppose you've one device you can scroll through various controls.
