Question for all of you that still have land line phones, About how many phone call do you get a day from tell a marketers? I’m sure I get a lot more and they don’t leave messages but when I get home each day I usually have 3 messages all from tell a markers. A few years back my brother-in-law Phil gave me a Telezapper for Christmas.

The gift of silence...really...the damn thing works.

I can loan it to you. I've loaned it to three people...in six weeks...your telemarketing calls will be reduced by 60%. I swear to JAH.

Adding your number to the Federal do not call list helps greatly. We get... oh, maybe one or two a month.

I also yelled at one of my credit cards because they kept calling about this or that (credit protector, miles cards, blah blah blah), and rather than having me cancel my account they just stopped calling.

Yeah, you may want to make sure you're on the Do Not Call list. I don't get too many calls now because of that.

I have perfected a way to ignore it and fuzz-out my vision so that I do not have to see your photo. Seriously, were you having a really bad hair day?

We only get a few calls a month. You are right however, those calls are either about satellite t.v. or refinancing our home. It doesn't really bother me, we have privacy manager on our phone so if they are blocking their number the call won't come through. If it is a number I don't recognize I just don't answer it.

I have caller I'd so I do not pick up numbers I don't know but they like to leave messages.
