All girly, thats pretty funny :). Maybe you ought to time it for another day? You already have the leaving for dallas question. Sometimes its better not to barage people, this might be a good gauge for the raise question.

See how he handles you leaving early and the check and all that, and if it goes well when you get back ask for that raise. Remember one important thing though, never risk what you cant afford to loose. If he pisses and moans at the leaving early for Dallas thats a preview of what you can expect when you ask for a raise.
