Seriously, Polaroid has lost their minds!

When a single 10-pack of Polaroid film that expired in November of 2002 is selling for more than $40 (US) on eBay, why am I supposed to believe the market for Polaroid Instant Film has dried up to the point that they need to stop production and shut down all their factories?  That's more than $4 a picture for film that may or may not even still ( Read more... )

I just read this as well. My wife is going to wicked disappointed, as she JUST bought a Polaroid instant camera. Luckily, it appears that Fuji still manufactures the stuff ...

Oh Drew, I love you for understanding completly. The company is insane. Indeed, I think it might just be a marketing tactic. When I read about it I instantly thought: What? And then, Must get Polaroid film! They want all the artsy kids to freak out, consumeconsumeconsume, and then they'll start boxing it up again. Right? That's got to be it.
Anyway, I did get some but I feel like I'm never going to use it because I'll think it's too precious. I don't see myself buying it over priced on ebay, ever.
I can't imagine how you're feeling! You take Polaroids like mad!
