Today we took a day trip to Genting Highlands. This is a huge resort built on top of a mountain, home to shopping complexes, the biggest hotel in the world, an indoor theme park and an outdoor theme park. Today we went around Kuala Lumpur one more time. Eunice's brother picked us up and we drove to Thean Hou Temple, a Buddhist temple. We had fun walking around, kneeling in front of the Buddha, getting our fortunes told, and washing with holy water.

For my 24th birthday Eunice took me to Mines Resort City. This is a resort built on top of a former tin mine. There are two artificial lakes, a shopping complex, a golf course, a posh hotel, an amusement park, and more. Mines Wonderland is the amusement park portion. Mines Wonderland isn't up to the scale of, say, Disneyland, but it was still fun! ( Read more... )

The past few days Eunice and I have gone around KL (Kuala Lumpur). She lives in Petaling Jaya, which is a short LRT (light rail transit) ride away.

Yesterday (Nov. 7) Eunice and I flew back to western Malaysia. Now we are staying at her place in PJ (Petaling Jaya). Eunice lives in a small room, sharing an apartment with the landlord, landlady, and one other Chinese woman. The front room is quite nice, with marble floor, comfy furniture, and a Buddhist shrine. When I saw Eunice for the first time in six months, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She was so beautiful... even more beautiful than I remembered! In spite of the fact that we had only interacted with each other online the past few months, we instantly got along perfectly. We couldn't stop smiling at each other, hugging, cuddling, kissing. :D

One hour layover in Taipei, Taiwan. (The local time is 6:40 AM.) The flight went much better than I thought it would.
