I'm bothered by how much focus is on what happens in the US and how little is taught about other countries (even our allies and neighbors--the ones from which we get most of our immigrants). We know nothing about history, and other forms of government are just brushed over in school, and we have such a low understanding about the rest of the world ( Read more... )
