(no subject)
a few things have happened lately.
1) matt and i went to the great porn debate on wednesday, and it was very interesting. no porn was shown, unless you consider being in the same room as ron jeremy being exposed to pornography. interesting fact about mr. jeremy: he has a masters degree in special education. who knew?? anyway, if you look up "great porn debate" on youtube you can find some clips from various debates between ron jeremy and craig gross. it was really pretty cool.
2) thursday night, melissa and i went to the casting crowns / jeremy camp concert. i've listened to both of them on the radio or on cds, and thought they were mediocre at best. however, the concert was freakin awesome. seriously. ha, two jeremys in two nights!
3) saturday night we got together with some friends for dinner, and i ended up entertaining them with guitar music for about an hour. it was good times, got to play songs i'd never played and screw up songs i'd played a billion times. woooo!
4) today melissa and i went to the state fair. it was hot! HOT!! we decided to skip the free concert (since we've been to two concerts in the past week), and came home instead. oh, the deep fried confection at the fair this year is deep fried...... pepsi? i was too scared to try it. i can't even begin to imagine what that is.
anyway, off to bed. too many late nights lately. hope everyone's doing well!
