started attending a support group

my friends scott and cynthia had a baby! i don't remember anyone else at this moment. probably someone really close to me is reading this and pissed now.
4. Did anyone close to you get married?
my friend cindy got married!

my grandma

not really anything special
7. Did you move anywhere?

8. What was the best month?
i've been fairly ambivalent and apathetic about 2008.

focus and determination

1 full year away from porn
12. What was your biggest failure?
failure exists only when the problem isn't used as an opportunity to grow and overcome obstacles.

your mom OH SNAP!! but seriously i got a new (new to me anyway) car and an electric/acoustic guitar

bills and groceries

i can't honestly remember! maybe it's because i'm tired as i write this.

20. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? a little bit of this, a little bit of that... i've realized i'm not going to stay at my job forever, which has both relieved and frustrated me.
ii. thinner or fatter? i think a little fatter
iii. richer or poorer? not so much money as last year, even with my 2% raise (ha!), but i'm growing spiritually and such.

being assertive and not so damned codependent

being passive and so damned codependent
23. How will you be spending New Year's Eve/Day?
next year? who knows? this passed one i spent with my lovely wife melissa. we were playing "Lego Star Wars II" when the ball dropped. about 12:10 she looks at the clock and says "Oh we missed it! Happy new year!"
24. What was an unexpected surprise?
finding out that a support group is a wonderful freeing thing

i fall in love every day!
26. What was the best concert you've been to this year?
i went to one concert -- it was a local college jazz ensemble. i also went to a musical (the producers) which was hysterical and amazing.

the only one i can remember was "last light" by terri blackstock. it was pretty awesome.

michael mulvaney is an amazing guitarist! he plays worship at my support group.

geez, what a loaded question! the election was pretty stirring. i have to say, regardless of who i voted for, that i got really tired of seeing obama/biden stuff all over the place as though it were a fashion thing, like how everyone and their brother here in indianapolis wears a peyton manning jersey.
