Holiday and Eurovision:)
Just come back form a really nice holiday, with thanks to Herbie, Yappy and Brace for making my first trip to the US extra special:)
always wanted to go to the US since i was little, and always dreamed of going to Disney since I was even smaller but gave up on ever getting there^^
But seems if you wish hard enough things do come true:D
the weather was just what I like, nice and warm and humid:) was nice to walk out of the hotel and go *Agggghhh thats nice^^ * and stayed like that all week:)
did so many nice things I dont think I can fit it all in:P
High points were definately Pawpet show, catching up and spending time with friends and making some new ones:) who all made my stay very enjoyable:)
I saw a Vulture sat on some carrion at the bottom of Yappies road, that was quite impressive as it was huge! biggest birds we get in the UK is the Golden Eagle of which I have only seen once and at a distance.
Universal studios was pretty impressive even if I did get toasted in the 20min walk to the park and after plastering myself with suncream:/
bought a hat to shield my face:) but Rakhan later found me an even better cheetah hat:D saw Blue Man Group who were amazing:) can eatch them forever, it was good lisening to the people sat next door who had never seen them before and didnt know what to expect^^
went to most of the Disney parks and managed to somehow lose the car as it wasnt parked where we thought we left it when we had returned 0_o; it seemed to have moved itself under a bridge!
and saw La Nouba, and saw back stage that just took my breath away:D so many good things^^ I xould write a journal on each one:) even the plane journey! :D had a games system in the seat! wheeeee!:D
Saw some awesome puppetry at festival of the lion king helped by some great seats:D
went to dinner at a really nice place on International drive and got a tour of the restaurant by the designer/owner which was really interesting as there were lots of differnt things to see and the more you looked the more you saw:) followed by watching Star Trek, which was amazing and defiantely worth the wait:D
and had a tour of where Herbie works whicxh I particularily enjoyed being an art person:) was informative and interesting and really enjoyed it:D
went to Aquatica and saw the dolphins, we picked a good day to go as it was scorching hot and the water was nice and cooling:) though the same cant be said for the pavement we were walking on! was a case of running from shaded area to shaded area, or water fountain to water fountain whilst trying not to get burnt feet!:P
Had the most amazing time, and a thanks to Rakhan for making my dreams come true:) and to everyone else for making it the best time ever:D was so happy and could go on and on forever and ever:)
I may be in need of poptarts:P we dont do them over here:P
