Hard Letting Go. So Damn Hard.

Within a couple hours from now it will be officially six-weeks on the (wet) nose exactly, when I lost my best buddy ever. I hate it, it was so sudden, so forceful. So damned aggravating that I'm even choking up a bit writing this. I've never had such a bond with a dog before. Sure we had plenty of good pups throughout my growing up on the farm,

Oh man, do I ever know where you are and I'm so sorry you are going through it. The tenant of loving a dog is that you will eventually have to say goodbye.
