Awwwww... poor kitty... and wise boy. :)

Did you take him in for a once-over, anyway? Maybe he dislocated something and it popped back in place? I'd still want to try to find out what happened...

We didn't bring him in bc he's been acting fine and was not showing any signs of distress or discomfort after the initial incident. I didn't really want to spend $75 for an office visit for them to say "Hmm...not sure. Seems to be gone now." If he does have something majorly wrong, we won't be pursuing any aggressive treatment for him given his age anyway, so I'd rather spare him stress whenever possible.

Perhaps he is feeling low because he hasn't had a recent chance to draw blood from me.
