[It was good to see Sarah again, as well. Her first and thus far best roommate looked a lot more in her element in the nurse's outfit rather than on the hospital bed. Erica smiles a little, trying to hide the limp that was definitely present.]
Okay, so maybe it's still a little weak. But the doctor said that I was pretty much able to get up and wander around now!
[Well. Technically he'd said that she had a couple weeks left in the healing progress to go before she could really start moving. But in the grand scheme of the months she'd spent in the hospital, that was equivalent to "pretty much," wasn't it?]
*Also, knows next-to-nothing about healing processes after big accidents =P*spintosurviveJune 5 2011, 21:40:55 UTC
[She smiles ruefully back at the other woman, knowing she would probably make good on the threat if she thought it necessary.] Nothing! Or... nothing new, at least. It's just a little shaky after the accident, is all.
[Which was very nice to see. Some of the other nurses in the hospital didn't seem to.
A slight shrug then.] I wasn't exactly up and wandering about too much back then.
[But she definitely was now. And her recent increase in wanderings may have been a little premature, which may have resulted in a little fall that may have resulted in her current sprain and limp. Although she would probably never admit to all those possibilities.]
[She smiles angelically in response, still walking a bit unsteadily. After a few minutes it looks like she'll actually be okay on her own, but then she stumbles-- not enough to fall, but enough to throw her a bit off-balance.] Yikes!

But I'm fine, Sarah. Really! And if I go back to bed I'll get bored and start bugging people. Do you really want me to do that?

[She thinks on it for a minute, before sighing a little.] Fine. That takes away all the fun, though.

[The nurse leaves before she can finish asking, so Erica's left blinking a little confusedly after the woman, still leaning a little against the wall.
When Sarah comes out in the chair, a slow grin of understanding spreads across her face.] Oh, sweet.
