Ooh. Ooooooh. I like how you made this so innocent (and obnoxious) with the exclamation points and everything, but then you threw in the thing at the end about the beast. Nice twist, really nice twist. I know you had a tough time with this, but I think it worked out really well in the end.

I really love how your last paragraph encapsulates the conflicting things Dawn feels for Buffy being the Slayer: seeing the importance of what Buffy does yet being resentful that she's doesn't feel as important as slaying to Buffy. You do similar work throughout the piece - complaining mixed with longing and resentment. It's a nice layer of complexity for such a relationship and very sisterly!
