xander's speech toched my so much. I hope he gets a cape. I can just relate so much. I am even starting to cry now. 7 years of being powerless, 7 years of having nothing special, 7 years watching your friends get more powerful, 7 years of just watching, but 7 years of being extra ordinary.

Any news on this one? I am having the same problems trying to watch a disc that was recorded on a Airis L105D set top DVD recorder. Playing it on my Pioneer set top DVD player only 28 minutes will work then it jumps back to root menu. Same experience on my computer. Only one 1GB VOB file in Video_TS even though it says 4GB used under disc properties. Two issues actually:1. Not able to "see" all VOB files.2. Able to play it in my friends Panasonic DVD player but not in My Pioneer 360 player. This is really anoying. Not only do we have the issues with +R, -R, +RW, -RW, - RAM and media quality. Now I understand there's another standard for set top recorders as well. -VR and +VR? I can't believe we consumers are accepting this...Anyhow, if you have any recomendations please post them here. Thanks from a very cold and windy Sweden,/Nicklas

I have found that its very easy to make back ups of your dvds with Nero 6.6 or better. If you have two dvd drives you can use the direct copy method, if not then go to make dvd video and use the import disk option. The import may take several min. but should work fine. If you have problems because of a copywright then just download DVD43, this will fix the problem.
