I can't place all of the references and it's driving me nuts. I recognise The Princess and the Toad (although, testicle jokes aside, Kanda doesn't seem the type to care about losing a golden ball down a well, so maybe the toad made off with Mugen?), and the gossipy flowers from Alice in Wonderland (or maybe Through the Looking-Glass? either story is a good framing device for a tale like this), and The Wizard of Oz and Puss in Boots, and Cinderella (you might like Lime Daiquiri's recent version of this on the Pit), and Rapunzel, and Aladdin (which appears to be based on the 1001 Nights version, awesome~), and Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. I'm good on all of those.

But then there's what might be The Beauty and the Beast (while I don't remember a cherubic Cupid anywhere in the story, "bull/monkey/lion hybrid" describes the movie version of the Beast pretty well), and then...Peter Pan? the tooth fairy? something from Aesop's Tales? I don't remember anything about cutting bits off for an argument except for the founding of Ulster with ( ... )

haha, well. The part with the Cupid is a mix of things. So that is indeed the Beast (wasn't expecting it to be that recognizable!), and Cupid, and the tooth fairy. They're not all from the same story, but hey, chaotic Innocence-created world here. XD ( ... )
