[Sora scrunches his eyes closed, wrestling off his far-too-big navy shirt and throwing it at Rangiku]

[Riku's just as naked as Rangiku. unfortunately, he was - and still is - sleeping next to Sora.

as soon as the yelling happens he starts awake, squinting in the abruptly blurry gloom]

[he's about five inches away when Sora's big blues come into focus]

[Kairi, perhaps fortunately or unfortunately, was neither asleep nor in bed. Alarmed by the sudden talking and noises she scrambles for the light and switches it on--

[There are ALL these people HE DOESN'T KNOW, and he can't find Kairi and Riku, and people are naked and that makes him feel a little scared and---and---

and Sora bursts into tears]

[Kairi reacts almost instinctively. She plucks up the blanket that was meant to be hers and immediately wraps it around Sora's shoulders and sweeps the boy up into her arms, holding him tight, petting his hair and murmuring comfortingly at him. It's all she can think of to do.]

[hiccups and sobs, nuzzling his damp face in the crook of Kairi's neck and having a good hard cry. This is all too confusing for him]
