New York, New York

I've been crazy busy lately. However, I thought I should note that I am going to New York with the grads from Friday-Tuesday. I'm excited about the trip, particuarly considering we've got some inside connections through the profs into visiting studios and galleries. Yay!

Also, an update on the massive painting. Yes, it is taking me this long.

It really isn't any particular store. My sources include Micheals, Walmart, Target, ACE Hardware, Hobby Lobby, among others, and my own adding of this and that. I wanted to create my own store ;)

I don't think this will look like michaels in the end. It is very michaels like at the moment though.
The michaels by my house seemed to have a moth problem. They were eating the silk flowers :P

You are dedicated to art, you just aren't obessed about one giant painting.

Hopefully you have a good time in NY. :) Are you driving or flying out there? If you happen to go to the Met (or anywhere near Central Park along 5th Avenue), you may get a chance to see this character. Pale Male was the subject of those cake paintings we talked about earlier this summer, you may recall... He has a bit of a cult following among NYC birders and beyond. I will admit that I've become just as fascinated, despite never setting foot in NYC myself ( ... )

I am leaving tomorrow at 6am by plane. This means I will need to get up at 3am. I am going to be brief because it is already late given that fact ;)
I will look out for the birdy!
I like your comments on the painting, it is interesting. Things will change too.
And they are cards, greeting cards.

G'night :)

So Reena tells me that you're going to be storing your paintings in our new apartment. Well, you didn't ask me... but I guess it's okay.

When are you coming to see us!?

PSH! Maybe I will revoke your right to store my paintings at your apartment with that attitude!

I will come to see you when I am invited. ;)
