I probably could have figured that out, though I'd have left off the "yo" from each sentence, as I have long since learned that they're not necessary. (Yay for taking several different languages where the subject is usually implied!)
Then again, mi madre habla espanol. And I studied it in elementary school. So I have a similar (if lesser) advantage. I had fun getting 100% on Ambre's Spanish test during writing yesterday, because I know some grammar. (Well, simple present tense and some of the adjectival modification rules...)
