I listened to the song while reading, and the music and it's urgency really coveys the sense of panic Dave is experiencing, the chaos that is currently his mind. If anything, this feels like Dave's theme song. I might have to go back and read it all while listening to the songs that accompany the stories.

This installment was great. I am curious to see how far you take Dave into canon. I know it says through Furt..will you go past that with Kurt still at McKinley? I almost wish the creepy look and death threat hadn't happened.

Ooh, that's cool that you did that. I had thought of providing the music files with each track so people could do that, but ultimately I'm too lazy, hahaha. But I'm glad you did, because especially for this chapter, both the music and the lyrics fit really well. I usually end up listening to the song that I've chosen for each chapter on repeat the day that I write it, so the music will really be on my brain as I write.

This will contain pretty much all the canon events through the end of Furt. So, yeah, including the creepy look and the death threat, and the transfer to Dalton. But after that I just ignore everything else.

I really like your take on that scene because this is exactly what I feel went wrong there. Im sure the boys meant well but it was the stupidiest place they could ahve found for it. sort of showed me they have no idea what they are really doing. it sort of felt like Kurt unknowingly gave Dave the last push over the edge. which, given the fact Kurt was trying to help, makers it all even sadder :(

Yes, exactly. I kind of facepalmed when they did it in the show, but you know what they say about the road to hell. They meant well, and the general idea of letting Dave know he's not alone is a good one, but they really shouldn't have expected him to take it with a smile when they could have outed him to everyone by doing it.

Ooh, I liked the way you wrote this, all the cursing and the desperation. I also liked the part with his parents, with the automatic responses. dave trying to fake normality with them.
But i loved reading what was on Dave's mind as Blaine appeared! That might be one of my favourite scenes in taht episode.

Thanks!! I enjoyed writing this scene from Dave's POV, because in the show we really only get a glimpse of the panic and desperation that must be there in his head.
