this is a very interesting take on the death threat. especially that Dave woudlnt realize until later how much he terrified Kurt with it

now I really cant wait for teh Cake topper scene

I had to think he wouldn't realize how seriously Kurt took the threat. I don't even know how many times I've said or heard the phrase "I'm gonna kill you." People so rarely mean it seriously, especially teenage boys. But I think he sees Kurt as holding the power here because he knows Dave's secret...he doesn't realize how much he scares the poor kid.

But anyway, thanks! The cake topper scene might be a few days coming, as I have to pack up and move back to school now that my break's over. *sigh* But I'll try and get it together for ya! :)

He's like a train wreck. A big, soft, impulse acting, non-thinking train wreck. Hopefully he'll soon realize that's not working out so well for him.

Thanks! :) Furt is such a complex episode for Karofsky, it's gonna take a lot of thought in how I treat it. Hope I do it justice!

I really like this story. It's interesting how you are keeping with the canon. So many people pick out parts or maybe only keep the canon up until the locker room kiss (guilty!). It's going to be interesting to see how Dave redeems himself seeing as he keeps digging himself deeper and deeper (same as how we are all looking forward to see how Ryan Murphy plans his redemption) Awesome job!

Thank you so much! I decided I had to try and tackle the canon for those episodes, to really try and get into Dave's head and figure out what he was thinking. And yeah, Dave needs to learn that when you get into a hole, the first thing you do is stop digging! Hopefully he can still find a way to climb out!

Love your take on the death threat. I honestly don't think Dave realised Kurt would take it so seriously. In my head he doesn't realize how threatening he can be, because he's so terrified himself all the time, of his secret coming out, that he doesn't see his own behavior. If that makes sense.

I completely agree. When you're always scared yourself, you can't imagine that anyone can see you as a real threat. He's desperate, and he's doing stupid things because of it. But I don't think he has any idea how scary he can be.
