Thank you so much! :) I love to try and get into his head...we only see it from Kurt's eyes, but imagining it through Dave's it's such a trip sometimes.

It's just so sad how his parents' prejudices are handed down, making Dave so terrified of himself that he feels compelled to terrify someone else in return. Another great chapter. I'm very curious to see your take on Dave's reaction to Kurt's transfer. It's one thing the show hasn't really given us a glimpse of.

Parental prejudices don't have to be violent hatred to be passed down. They can be subtle and still be very effective, unfortunately. Dave's reaction to the transfer won't be for a few chapters yet, but I'm excited to write it and see how it goes. :)

Oh, I loved your writing in this one.
I never thought before that Dave would have made those creepy or mocking gestures because he was jealous of Kurt with Finn, but now I cannot help but wonder it is very plausible.
I actually laughed when you mentioned he had the sense not to kiss Chang.
Thanks for writing, this is getting better and better!

Thank you very much! In my headcanon Dave saw Kurt crushing on Finn sophomore year and never quite got past that. His "butt-buddy" comment in the super bowl ep confirmed that for me, haha.

And also in my headcanon he has a teensy crush on Mike. Cause who wouldn't like Mike Chang? ;)
