More or less a direct sequel to the last one while I try and find something original to write. And man do I wish I had your fan service icon, Angel. *giggles*
When You Get There... [Roy/Alphonse - FMA]
Warnings: AU, Shota (implied)
He'd had dreams like this before.
The city was deserted. High buildings, cold and empty, kissed by dark-gray cloud so the tops couldn't be seen. The silence was almost welcome as he stepped blindly through the streets, looking for something even if he didn't know what. He was about to turn when he saw a flash of blonde hair dart through the corner of his vision.
He turned, fingers raised and ready to fire before the same golden blur passed behind him.
"Hello?" He asked, spinning on his heel to get a better view of the same nothing his dreams always had. In the distance, he heard echoed laughter and could almost see Fullmetal's smile before he found himself falling backwards from a pressure on his chest.
Roy always woke up before he hit the ground and before he could see who had made him fall in the first place. He still woke up with the warmth on his chest though, and his fingers wound comfortingly in the blonde hair of his bed mate. Al always seemed to wake up when he did, and today was no different. Smile and all, the younger Elric's olive eyes lifted and the brilliant grin shone to his toes.
"Morning Roy-sa--" Al paused as the elder Alchemist's fingers glanced over the almost branded seal at the base of the blonde's neck. It was the only way the General had found to coax Al away from the titles and salutations long enough to speak. They'd been sleeping together long enough now that they were passed all of that; or so the General thought.
"--Roy. Did you see Niisan too?" the teen asked innocently, and Roy was beginning to think that the young man was the cause for all his dreams of late. And that blur in his mind could only be the little guy with a big attitude. Roy leaned down and kissed Al on the forehead, only to have the teens lips find his own a few moments later.
"He's telling us where to meet him," Al completed, smiling down at Roy before moving off the bed, naked, to find where his clothes lay discarded over the floor. "Come on. He'll be there soon."
Roy sat up, picking his shirt from the floor and pulled it on methodically. His own dreams were becoming more vivid since the night on the rooftop, and the skeptic in him was finally coming around to believing his young companion.
"Where are you going?"
"I don't know!" Al replied with a giggle, pulling on Ed's jacket to finish the look. "I'll know when I get there."
The blonde paused a moment, looking out the window with a wonderous look and a beaming grin.
"He's here!"
